Sara Fitzmaurice

Sara Fitzmaurice founded FITZ & CO in 1995 to work exclusively in advancing the arts internationally. She recently relocated to Los Angeles, after more than 20 years in New York, to open FITZ & CO’s West Coast office. Over the past 17 years at FITZ & CO, Fitzmaurice has advised more than 90 non-profit and for-profit clients on international media relations, strategic positioning and planning, audience development, sponsorship, and special events. She is on the board of New York’s Public Art Fund, where she has advised on public artist projects, funding, and public relations/marketing since 1999. Fitzmaurice graduated Magna Cum Laude in Art History from Boston University, after having grown up in Minneapolis. She is married to the gallerist Perry Rubenstein, and has two daughters.

Anne-Marie Bazzani

Anne-Marie Bazzani, FITZ & CO Director of Finance and Operations, is responsible for the management of the firm. Prior to FITZ & CO, Anne-Marie was with Christie's, the global auction house, where she was an Assistant Vice President / Business Manager, running several departments from a business side including Wine, Latin American Paintings,Prints, Musical Instruments and Collections. Previously, she was a Senior Trade Attaché for the French Trade Office in New York. Anne-Marie started her career at Société Générale, the global corporate and investment banking firm. Anne-Marie holds an MBA from Columbia University, and an undergraduate degree from Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales, Paris. A native of France, she speaks French, German and English fluently.

Meg Blackburn

Meg Blackburn is FITZ & CO’s Director of Media Relations, leading public relations campaigns with the company’s experienced media team. Blackburn joined FITZ & CO in May 2011 from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where she worked on the opening of the Foster + Partners-designed Art of the Americas wing. Prior, Blackburn was Senior Publicist at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), handling such exhibitions as Gabriel Orozco (2009), Joan Miro: Painting and Anti-Painting 1927–1937 (2008), Take Your Time: Olafur Eliasson (2008), and Jeff Wall (2007); as well as annual film festivals, New Directors/New Films and Premiere Brazil!; and the annual benefit, Party in the Garden. Blackburn previously worked at Muze, Inc.; the New Museum of Contemporary Art; Fairchild Publications; and Simon & Schuster.

Dan Tanzilli

Dan Tanzilli, FITZ & CO’s Director of Strategic Development, is the agency’s senior strategist advising on the global direction of key accounts in addition to spearheading the agency's development initiatives. With FITZ & CO since 2003, Tanzilli has advanced within the agency, and most recently served as the Director of Media and Events. Tanzilli graduated from New York University with a BA in Art History. He is a Co-Chair of the Guggenheim Museum’s Young Collectors Council and a member of the New Art Dealer's Alliance (NADA).

Assistant Director

Justin Conner

Justin Conner, Assistant Director of Media Relations, leads many of FITZ & CO's high level national and international accounts, working closely with clients to develop strategic and high profile press initiatives. Conner holds several years of public relations and project management experience, and has worked closely with several artists and curators including Hans Ulrich Obrist and Elmgreen & Dragset. Conner began his career writing about art as an Assistant Editor at Interview magazine and holds an MA in Art History from the City University of New York, Hunter College and a BA in Sociology with a correlate sequence in French from Vassar College. Justin is a member of the MoMA PS1 Contemporary Circle.

Assistant Director

Concetta Duncan

Concetta Duncan joined FITZ & CO in 2009 and continues to manage and implement accounts in the U.S. and overseas as the company's Assistant Director. Prior to FITZ & CO, she held the position of Press & Marketing Associate at the American Dance Festival where she also served as liaison to the National Endowment for the Arts' Arts Journalism Institute for Dance Criticism. In Hanoi, Vietnam she served as Coordinator of International Sponsorship for the Long Bien Festival, organized by the Maison des Arts gallery. She has also worked on research and publication projects with Lois Greenfield Photography and Jodi Kaplan Films. Duncan graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in Cultural and Performance Studies where she completed a thesis on movement and legislation in apartheid South Africa. She is a member of The Junior Associates of The Museum of Modern Art and is an active advocate of the arts.

Account Executive

Sarah Hardin-White

Sarah Hardin-White, Account Executive, VIP Relations and Sponsorship, joined FITZ & CO in 2010. Hardin-White manages FITZ & CO's VIP relations outreach, museum trustee group relationships, as well as sponsorship outreach and management. She also develops and implements FITZ & CO’s web presence and social media platforms. Prior to joining FITZ & CO, Hardin-White worked in Museum Education at the Newport Art Museum in Rhode Island and at the Shelburne Museum in Vermont. Hardin-White is a graduate of Washington & Lee University, where she attained a B.A. in Art History with a minor in Museum Studies. She is a member of the Museum of Modern Art's Junior Associates and the Whitney Contemporaries.

Event Manager

Jillian Choi

Jillian Choi joined FITZ & CO in February 2011 and now serves as Event Manager, providing full-scale event production for projects ranging in scale and scope. Prior to joining FITZ & CO, Choi has previously worked at Cristina Grajales Gallery and has also worked in fashion event production. She has earned a degree in Art History from New York University and has most recently served as Account Coordinator for the Media Relations team.

Executive Assistant to the President

Mary Greene

Mary Greene, Executive Assistant, has recently joined the FITZ & CO team in the Los Angeles office. Prior to this position, Mary was a gallery assistant at Perry Rubenstein Gallery working closely with clients and artists. Mary graduated with honors in 2010 from Rutgers University, New Jersey with a BA in Art History and History with a minor in Spanish. While at Rutgers she was the Chair of the Zimmerli Student Advisory Board to the Zimmerli Museum, which planned student based programs and worked closely with the museum on public relations, planning events and managing museum guests.
